Aaj subha neend khuli, aur roshandaan ko sote dekha,

Baramdeh mein pahucha toh dekha aaj khuda ne parda kiya hua hai,
Khushboo bata rahi hai ki upar fatiah ka mahaul hai.
Deewarein nam hain, gharhe mein paani aaj thanda mila,
aur kayee dinon baad taar par faakhta sukoon mein bethi hai.


Hafte ke beech mein, aaj zindagi ka itwaar lag raha hai,
aur kisi intezaar mein, sab theher kar aasmaan tak rahe hain.
Chalo isi bahane logon ko kai dino baad, sar uthane ka mauka toh mila.
Kuch ummeedein poori hongi aaj shayad


Achanak baadalon ne fatiah khatm hone ka ek karhakta elaan kiya,
Aur tabarruk ki firaaq mein har ghar ki khidkiyon se haath dikhne lage,
Ek haath maine bhi barhaya, aur ek ummeed meri bhi poori hui.

A day in the life of the Snake Family

This is a short story on creatures who have alot of 'fun'...snakes...coz each one is born with one ;P ...so somewhere in the woods of Anagolconda, there lived a funny snake family in an unusually funny old tree. The tree had 3 bums & their name plate read 'Ass-teen ke Saanp'.

So like every morning, Papa Snake has gone to sssschool, where he takes the hissstory class...Mumma Snake's in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Chotusss,& Chotusss, wearing his Harry Potter glasses is busy cleaning his Snike shoe while listening to the Stings.

So just like every day, Mumma Snake starts yelling & rattling to Chotusss, 'Beta!3 glass zeher garam kar diye hain, complan daalke peelo'. Like everytime Chotusss corrects her, 'mumma 3 nahin 1' & there goes our irritated Mumma Snake, 'Chotusss, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm a Naa-gin...& I can't count'. In a jiffy, Chotusss with his naughty smirk ready with his bahana no.ehhhhh..., 'mumma, actually sab wait kar rahe hain, I'm getting late for saanp-seedi, time pe nahin pahucha to 6 no. milega aur koi bhi nahin kutega'. Mumma Snake, ready as always with her comeback, 'waise bhi 6 hi milega, apni length toh dekho... colony ke saare sapole tumhe Sssutli bulate hain. Din bhar saanp-seedi khelne aur perh par latakne se height nahin barhegi...height barhani ho toh roz 10 glass zeher mein 30 chamche complan daalke piyo'... ...And Chotusss, left with no choice would gulp his zeher in a flash & hop out of the house in his Snike.

So as the day proceeds, with no one & no work around, Mumma Snake would get back to her addiction for TV. Dusss Ka Dum, Snake Duje Ke Liye & Sarp-Arosh, being her favourites...and the day would pass lazying around, until Papa Snake arrives. Papa Snake is a romantic serpent... evening quickies are a ritual at 'Ass-Teen'...their favourite is the Rubberband Position which they immensely enjoy summed up by a long French Hisss...'You 'knotty' boy,chalo bas...35 baj gaye hain Chotusss aata hi hoga', & Mamma Snake knows what’s coming...in a flash, Papa Snake just rushes & hides inside the nearest water hose, 'kahan kidhar...oh shit, oh shit, oh shit'...& like every time Mumma Snake would start rolling on the floor, laughing her fangs out!

Papa snake was a big time panicky since he had cracked his egg...between friends he was popular as 'Mr.Hissspanic'. One of his hits being that one day while taking his class the duster fell, & our Mr.Hissspanic ran out screaming, 'it's an earthquake, run for your lives'... Mamma Snake found Papa Snake pretty cute, but nobody could still figure out how Mr.Hissspanic managed to woo the hottest Naa-gin in college!

So coming back to Ass-Teen...just as they settled, we see Chotusss hoping in... 'hey mumma, is pa again hiding under the hose to give me a surprise!' Mamma Snake has nothing to say but to smile & make some chocolate zeher shake for Chotusss...while Sssutli enjoys his choco-zeher, Papa Snake would slowly crawl out of the hose, move towards Chotusss & shout, 'booo'...to which Chotusss with all his calm would turn around, make a face at Papa Snake & all 3 would burst into hissses...

So, there goes another day in the lives of some creatures, which have a lot of ‘fun’!
